Rick Diaz (RAD1604)

Rick Anthony Diaz has been a teaching artist in New York City since 1995. He teaches students from kindergarten to high school in a variety of venues including public and private schools, museums and community centers.

He teaches drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, and printing. His lessons are inspired by literature, art history, the natural and built environments, architecture, cartooning, illustration, craft and science. He teaches students to use art as a means of expression while exploring new materials.
