Into The Chinatowns

There has been continuing Chinese immigration to the United States and Canada since the mid-19th Century. Sara Jane Boyers' photographs taken in over 40 Chinatowns in the USA and Canada speak to this story, and to the Chinese traditions carried forward from one generation to another. As Americans we share a landscape that is populated by many cultures, a place where many have landed, merged, and taken root to form a new home.
